PhD Renewable Energy

The bi-national PhD Programme (2011-2014) was a cooperation between the University of Oldenburg and the Institute for Integrated Energy Systems (University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada). It was supported by the DAAD with funds from the BMBF under the DAAD Programme IPID (International Doctorates in Germany). This programme created a forum for the discussion of questions with regard to the transformation of energy supply systems. The programme was based on long-standing research and teaching experience in the area of renewable energy at both universities.
